Flat Rack & Bolster Containers belong to the platform style family of containers that are used for transporting oversized, oddly shaped and awkwardly handled cargo such as industrial machinery & equipment, construction materials and commercial vehicles. They have also been known to be repurposed as makeshift bridges on properties in rural Australia. Flat Racks and Bolster Containers generally have a low profile and small footprint which saves quite a lot of space when not in use compared to standard shipping containers.
Flack Racks & Bolsters come in either 20ft or 40ft with a steel or wooden deck and in a variety of designs and configurations depending on their intended purpose.
Fixed End Wall Flat Racks come with two walls at either end of the container which allow for increased load capacity and the ability to secure cargo.

Collapsible End Wall Flat Racks come with two walls at either end of the container that can be collapsed onto the container either on top or flush with the deck making them useful for a variety of purposes and while continuing to minimise the space required for storage when not in use. Bolster Containers are platforms which have no end walls reducing the height and weight of the container whilst maintaining high load capacity.

Will you deliver to my site?

When you purchase or hire a container from Container Options you have the option to arrange your own transport or you can contract Container Options to arrange it. As long as the delivery location is suitable, transport can be arranged using a flat top truck, tilt tray truck, side loader truck or the versatile hiab crane truck.

I’m on a tight budget, what options do you have?

How do I know if my goods will be safe?

If I hire a container in Sydney, will you pick it up when I’m done?

Part of the hire process, transport is arranged for the delivery and the return of the container once you have finished with it, unless you are arranging your own transport. Naturally when you have finished with the container at the end of hire, the container must be in a suitable location for the truck to collect it safely.
